Eric Moore, MD

Dr. Moore is a head and neck cancer surgeon and facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon in the department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Moore specializes in complex tumor removal and reconstructive surgery of the Head and Neck.

His primary areas of focus are:

  • Parotid gland surgery
  • Transoral robotic surgery for tonsil and base of tongue cancer
  • Thyroid surgery
  • Microvascular reconstructive surgery of the head and neck
  • Treatment of HPV positive tonsil and base of tongue cancer with minimal morbidity

In addition to his clinical and surgical activities, Dr. Moore is active in research and education, providing mentorship to residents and fellows. He authors expert content in head and neck cancer surgery and publishes in numerous journals and textbooks.

Dr. Moore has led and participated in numerous humanitarian surgical endeavors throughout the world and has been honored with the Mayo Fellows Humanitarian Award and Distinguished Mayo Clinician Award.
